Isabelle Mary Jones Corbosiero

1924-2014 NORTH ADAMS Isabelle Mary (Jones) Corbosiero of 107 Liberty St. North Adams went to be with the Lord Friday, March 7, 2014. She passed at home, surrounded by her family. She was born October 29, 1924 in Hancock, Mass., to Emerald and Alice (Vickery) Jones. She grew up in Hancock, attending Hancock School. She held the distinction of being the top student in the 8th grade. It was later discovered she was the only student in her 8th grade class. She attended Lebanon High School. She was married to Joseph Corbosiero on April 26, 1947 he passed April 8, 1996. She retired from Sprague Electric Co. after 43 years of service. After retirement, she worked part time at the Laundry Club. She is survived by her children Sandra Gilly of North Adams, Joseph Corbosiero and Shirlee Sullivan of Whitingham, Vt., Paul Corbosiero and fiance Cheryl Gilbert of Pittsfield, Rose Mary and Bill Walker of Winterville, N.C. She also left behind nine grandchildren and their spouses, Scott Corbosiero, Duane Walker, Lisa Bolus, Michael Corbosiero, Amy and Michael St. Andre, Adam Sullivan, Paul and Terri Gilly, Jonathan Corbosiero, Haleigh Corbosiero and fourteen great grandchildren. She was survived by her sister Eva Freely of Pittsfield. She was predeceased by three brothers Richard, George and Jerry Jones. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services will take place Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. at the Flynn& Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams,MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling Hours at the Funeral home are Monday from 4-6 P.M. Memorial Donations are suggested for Hospice of the Berkshire's through the funeral home.
