Philip A. Delmolino

1942-2014 PITTSFIELD Philip Allen Delmolino, 71, of 170 Maplegrove Drive, Pittsfield, Ma. Died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 15, 1942 in Pittsfield, Ma. A son of the late Felix and Shirley LaBlue Delmolino. He attended schools in Pittsfield. Phil had been employed for Bland Electric Company in Pittsfield for 35 years retiring as vice president of operations. He was a member of the Italian-American Club, a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, he was a avid New York Giants and Boston Red Sox Fan. Phil was also known as being a hard worker and was fond of his well manicured lawn. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years the former Pamela M. Bertoldi, they married January 4, 1985. Three sons, Philip M. Delmolino of Pittsfield, Shaun M. Delmolino of Dalton and Jamie A. Delmolino and his wife Laura of Fort Knox, Kentucky. Five grandchildren, Jennifer, Santino, Anthony, Nicole and Jacob Delmolino. A great grandson, Skylar Keyser. A Step Brother, Michael Delmolino and his wife Christine of Texas. Godson, David Bertoldi and Goddaughter, Christine Traversa. Uncles, Guerrino "Bill" Delmolino and John Baroli. Aunt, Dolly Chapman, Many Brother in laws and Sister in laws of the Bertoldi Family and many nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews. His former wife Judith Massari Delmolino of Pittsfield.His caregiver and sister in law, Tina Maffuccio and his caregiver and dear friend and neighbor Elana Delusky. His beloved furry friend dog Sparkie James. He was predeceased by his Stepmother, Carm Delmolino, by his in laws, Mr. & Mrs. Edward F. Bertoldi, his beloved aunt Beverly Baroli and many other aunts and uncles in the Delmolino family. With appreciation to HospiceCare in The Berkshires for the support and strength, and comfort during and throughout Phil's last days! FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 21, at 10:30A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by the Rev. Peter Naranjo and Deacon Robert Esposito. Burial will be at a later date in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday (today) at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or Hospice Care in the Berkshires both in care of the Dery Funeral Home 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma. 01201
