Stella Marion Paulski

1911-2014 Stella Marion Paulski, age 102, died Wednesday morning at Mt. Carmel Care in Lenox. She was born in Poland, May 7, 1911, the daughter of the late Teofil and Mary (Stockley) Paulski. She came to this country as a young child and settled in Pittsfield where she attended the local schools. She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She received her nursing certification from the former North Adams Hospital School of Nursing in October of 1939. After practicing here for a period of time, she moved to White Plains, N.Y., where she became the manager of Ebersole's Restaurant for 25 years. Marion then became the dental assistant and business manager for the dental practice of Dr. Michael Saul. Upon her retirement, she returned to Pittsfield to make her home. A communicant of St. Charles Church, she was an avid golf member of the Berkshire Hills Country Club where she continued to play well into her 90's. A volunteer at Berkshire Medical Center, she enjoyed traveling and playing Bridge. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fuchs, Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schnopp, Ms. Mary Jane Welch; Ms. Joan Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Murphy, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murphy; She is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her four sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Johnson Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Murphy, Mr. And Mrs. Carl Fuchs, and her nephew John Welch. FUNERAL NOTICE: Paulski, Stella Marion, age 102, died March 19th. The family will begin to receive friends on Monday morning at 9AM at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Charles church with the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Western Mass. in care of the funeral home.
