1938 - 2014 ADAMS Theresa Duprey, 75, of 75 Commercial St., died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on Nov. 14, 1938, daughter of the late Louie and Cecil Brodeur Belanger, she attended local schools. Theresa was employed for many years as a hairdresser for the former Isabelle's Hair Salon in Adams. Her last place of employment was for the Adams Cheshire Regional School System working in the cafeteria. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adams. She was also a member of Chapter 92 Order of the Eastern Star in Adams, where she was Past Matron; a member of the Adams Lodge of Elks, where she served as Chaplin and Inner Guard; a member of the North Adams Post 125 of the American Legion; a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in North Adams, and the Adams Turn Hall. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Hairpin Turners. Her first husband, C. Frank Rose Jr., died Jan. 15, 2014, and her second husband, Richard Duprey died, March 1, 2011. She is survived by a son, Craig L. Rose and his wife, Jennifer, of Adams; a daughter, Colleen Rose Medd of North Fort Meyers, Fla., a brother, Richard Belanger of Rhode Island.; two grandchildren, Charles Alexander Medd, and Matthew Dylan Rose. She was predeceased by a brother, William Belanger. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Theresa will take place Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 12 p.m. from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, with the Rev. Donald Gray, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to the Adams Lodge of Elks in care of the funeral home.
