1937 - 2014 NORTH ADAMS Lucille Lefaver Braman, 76, of 954 Jepson Rd., Stamford, Vt., died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, Vt., surrounded by her loving family. She was born in North Adams, on May 29, 1937, daughter of the late Alfred and Grace Stebbins Lefaver. She attended schools in Stamford, and graduated from Drury High School. Lucille was employed by A. Shapiro & Sons in North Adams for many years until her retirement. She attended the Stamford Community Church, and was a member of the VFW Post #996 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and trips to Foxwoods. She was the widow of Leo Lewis Braman who died Oct. 13, 2012. They were married on July 26, 1959. Survivors include three sons, Brent "Mike" Braman of North Adams, Kent Braman and his wife, Cathy, of Clarksburg, and Mark Braman of Readsboro, Vt; rour grandchildren, Brent Richard Braman, Bonnie Kaye Braman, Nathan William Braman, and Dane Mitchell Braman; four great-grandchildren, Aidan, Lucas, Lilly, and Colton; two sisters, Sybil Roy of South Hadley, Mass., and Sally Bohl of Stamford; a brother, Robert Lefaver of York Beach, Maine, and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Lucille Braman will be Monday, April 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow the burial at the North Adams VFW.
