1927 - 2014 NORTH ADAMS Dorothy Alice Clairmont Bullett, 87, of Phelps Ave, North Adams, died at Williamstown Commons on Monday, May 5, 2014. She was born in Cheshire, on April 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Alcide and Emma Marks Clairmont. She attended schools in Cheshire. She was last employed by the North Adams Regional Hospital as a certified nursing assistant for over 30 years, until her retirement in 1989. She was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church. She enjoyed cooking and was devoted to her church, but her main focus was on her family. She was the widow of Arthur J. Bullett Jr., who died on Aug. 20, 1996. They were married on Nov. 28, 1946. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Anne Moran of Lanesboro; three sons, Arthur J. Bullett, III, and his wife, Lois, of Saratoga, N.Y., Alcide J. Bullett and his wife, Patrcia, and Alan J. Bullett and his wife, Elizabeth, both of North Adams; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Lefebvre of Adams and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bullett was predeceased by three brothers, her twin, Donald Clairmont, Raymond and Lawrence Clairmont, and two sisters, Violet Bourassa and Rachel Jayko. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Dorothy Bullett will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church on Marshall St. in North Adams. Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery.
