1918 - 2014 BECKET Estelle "Bunny" Bunevich Breit, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, May 8, at Devonshire Estates in Lenox, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Passaic, N.J. on Aug. 21, 1918, to Louis and Lena Bunevich, Bunny was the youngest of four sisters. She graduated from Passaic High School in 1936 and married the love of her life, George G. Breit M.D., in Feb. 1943. Their daughter, and only child, Susan, was born later that year. After World War II, Bunny and her young family moved to Becket, Mass., where George served as the town doctor for generations of hilltown families. Bunny worked in her husband's office and helped him treat many patients. She was joined in Becket by her sister Dorothy and her husband, Donald Feder. George passed away in 2012. Bunny will be forever adored by her surviving family and friends. She leaves her daughter, Susan Willis, of Pittsfield; granddaughter, Jessica Willis, of Pittsfield; nephew, Michael Burg and his wife, Nancy, of Becket; nephew, Robert Feder and his wife, Kat, of Orlando, Fla.; her dear friend, Mary Colby, and her caregiver, Kathy Sumner. Bunny is predeceased by her oldest sister, Cherie, and by her sister and brother-in-law, Clarice and Freddie Burg; her grandson, Joshua Willis, and niece, Judith Tow and her husband, William. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services are scheduled at a later date with burial to take place in the family lot in North Becket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Medical Center Auxiliary in care of the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME .
