Dear Susie and family, I remember your Mom and your family welcoming us to Pittsfield in 1954. My brother and I were little kids, but we remember how great your mom was. I know we did not see you at all after you moved from Adam St., but I did see your Mom and she was so good to be around. She is going to be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Susan & Family - I will never forget meeting your mother, Viola, when I was a Hospice Volunteer assigned to look in on your father at Columbia Arms in Pittsfield many years ago. With a twinkle in her eye, she told me straight away that my visits would be for HER because she needed an afternoon of lively conversation! She turned out to be one of the most interesting and engaging people I had ever met. It makes me smile to know that she lived to be 100 years old - no surprise! Viola was truly one of a kind and I feel privileged to have known her. She was a gift.

Mrs. Olson was my favorite person as a child. My mom would bring me to her house on pontoosuc lake and I loved it there. I would tear fabric strips from old clothes and hand them to her and watch in awe as she braided those strips into homemade braided carpets. We rocked together in the rocking chair, sang Jesus loves me, and walked out back by the water. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of spending time with her at her house...I loved her so! Sing with the angels Mrs. Olson...you were truly a blessing in my life.

Mrs Olson was my second mother. She played the piano and we both sang Christian songs in harmony. our favorite was DAY BY DAY AND WITH EACH PASSING MOMENT. we would sing for hours. She made my wedding gown, saw in a vision my first child and knew I was pregnant before I did. She was my mentor and Christian example. Even though she moved away, I always thought of her and knew someday she would walk the streets of Glory. Im happy for her and wish her family the best, especially Susan whom I remember. Shes always in our hearts and we will meet again some day when Jesus calls us home. Love to all.
