John Gajewski

1991 - 2015 PITTSFIELD John Austin Gajewski, 23, of 38 Hamlin Street, died Friday September 25, 2015 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Pittsfield on December 27, 1991. He attended schools in MA and NH and had served in the US Army reserves in New Hampshire. John had done maintenance jobs for private families. He had been a supporter of Soldier On and enjoyed playing the guitar and piano and also enjoyed soccer and karate. He leaves his mother, Katrina M. Jacobs of Pittsfield, three sisters, Rebecca and Katelynn Leach both of Pittsfield and Tiffaney McGrath of Michigan, his adopted parents, Laura and Jim Gajewski of TN, his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Meyers of Pittsfield, his paternal grandmother Catherine Croteau of the State of Florida, a niece, Gabriella Leach and his Godfather, Joseph Rhoades. He was predeceased by his father, Mark Gilday.

What to say? What CAN you say? John was such a good hearted young man. We will always pray for him and for all of his family. We enjoyed "sharing" him with you all while he stayed with us for that brief period.
