Betty Ann Cox, 77, of Big Spring was born to Ernest and Ethel Kennedy on April 7, 1939, and passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016.|
Mrs. Cox was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at Dr. Warren's office as a dental assistant, worked at Hall Air-cooled Engine and retired in 2015.
She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Wallis and her husband Steve, Debra Casey and her husband Marvin, and Jeri Farmer and her husband Jerry; several grandchildren, Stephen Wallis and his wife Mary, Brandon Wallis and wife Melinda, Johnathan Casey, Trista Hubbard and her husband Brandy, Amanda Farmer, Brittany Langford and her husband Jeremy, Lisa Pearson and her husband Jon, and Jeremy Painter and his wife Brandy; several great-grandchildren, Colten, Cade and Cash Wallis, Aisly and Aiden Wallis, Cassidy Casey, Aeris Casey and Kenna Bennett, Addison, Casey and McKenzie Hubbard, Ryan and Ashtyn Pearson, and Alex and Sarah Painter; one brother, Rex Kennedy and wife Joyce; and a dear friend, Sandy Parrott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Jerold Cox Jr.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Myers and Smith Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. beginning Sunday, June 12, 2016, through Tuesday, June 14, 2016. No other services are scheduled.
