Gary W. Guthrie, 58 years young, of Big Spring, passed away on Nov. 2, 2015, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.|
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, Texas, 79761
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Martinez Funeral Home 1040 S. Dixie Blvd. Odessa, Texas, 79761. Arrangements are under the care of Martinez Funeral Home.
Guthrie was born in Levelland, Texas, to June Drewry-Guthrie and E.J Guthrie Nov. 2, 1957. Guthrie attended Burleson Elementary, Bowie Junior High and Odessa High School. In 1975, Guthrie owned and operated West Texas Machines. Guthrie was an amazing man, with a huge heart. He was a cherished and loved son, husband, grandpa, sibling and friend.
Guthrie is preceded in death by his father, E.J Guthrie; brother, Jerry Guthrie; and step-father, J.D Waldon.
Survivors include his Spouse, Patricia Morris - Baby, I never imagined I would be doing this right now. Sitting at your desk in your favorite chair and wearing your bathrobe.
