Kevin Lee Brownfield, 48, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.|
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1966, in Odessa and married Christy Norwood Aug. 8, 1997, in Big Spring.
Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, being at the lake and dancing. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan. He loved eagles and was a great cook.
He is survived by his wife, Christy Brownfield of Big Spring; three sons, Kyle Brownfield, Dylan Register and Garrett Brownfield, all of Big Spring; two daughters, Kendra Hawkins and husband, Alan of Oklahoma and Kayla Brownfield of Big Spring; his parents, Floyd and Nancy Brownfield of Big Spring; two sisters, Janis Brownfield of Big Spring and Holli Adams and husband, James of Abilene; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bud Norwood.
