Lougenia S. Langdale passed into eternal life May 14, 2016. |
She was born in Brownwood, Texas, to the late Eugene and Leona Smith. She was a graduate of Big Spring High School with the class of 1959.
Lougenia enjoyed camping and fishing, and loved to shop thrift stores and garage sales.
She is survived by a daughter, Kim Lott-Thomas and husband Thornton; a son, Duane Cadzow; a stepson, Luke Langdale; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Lougenia was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Langdale; and a sister, Linda Tubbs.
Visitation will be Monday May 23, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., with family receiving friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Chapel of Grace Funeral Home, 1928 34th St. in Lubbock. The memorial service will be at the historic spring in Comanche Trail Park in Big Spring on Saturday, May 29, 2016, at 1 p.m.
Her family is grateful to Lynwood Nursing and Rehab and the many friends she had there who loved and cared for her, and for the outstanding and loving service they provided during her last days before leaving for heaven's door.
