Margaret Louise Cape, 85, of Big Spring, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Big Spring. A private interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock.|
Margaret was born Sept. 10, 1929, in Houston, Texas and married James Cape July 8, 1950 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2010. She attended Texas Tech University, was a member of the 1955 Hyperion Club, volunteered at Scenic Mountain Medical Center as a Pink Lady and was a clerk for the local Health Food Store.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Susan Wooldridge and husband, Ted, of Amarillo, and Amy Christian of Big Spring; five grandchildren, Clark Wooldridge, Paul Wooldridge and wife, Colleen, Kyle Wooldridge and wife, Amber, Matthew Christian and Megan Vizcaino and husband, Andrew; and eight great-grandchildren, Mallory, Phinley, Phoebe, Charlie, Cape, Shepherd, Noah and Isabella.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Florence (Frazier) Fariss.
Due to the nature of the services, the family suggests memorials be made to the Cal Farley Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas 79174-0001 or to Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1009 Hearn, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
