Mary Ann Fairchild Phillips, 78, of Stanton, died, Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Manor Park. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Stanton with the Rev. David Harp, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.|
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton.
She was born December 7, 1936, in Colorado City and married Raymond Phillips October 23, 1993, in Odessa.
Mary graduated valedictorian from Forsan High School and was also homecoming queen. She attended Howard College and had worked as a secretary for various companies until retiring.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Phillips of Stanton; one daughter, Teresa Miller and husband, Bill of Midland; one brother, Dan Fairchild and wife, Deffie of Comanche; two granddaughters, Samantha Landers and husband, David of Odessa and Jennifer Miller of Midland; five great-grandchildren; four step-children, Nancy Crenshaw and husband, Robert, Sherry Phillips, Jim Bob Phillips and wife, Penny, and Randy Phillips and wife, Cecilia all of Big Spring; nine step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; many family and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
