Nannie Lee Tucker "Nano" Austin, 73, of Big Spring died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016. Private family services will be at a later date.|
She was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Big Spring to Ruby Jane Dorton Tucker and James Willie Tucker. She was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and was a homemaker.
She is survived by 5 children: Tony Baeza and his wife Kim, Nellie Mitchell and her husband Alvah, Bertie Covington and partner Buster, William Lee Giddden and his wife Tracy, and Ruby Austin and partner Cyn; one brother: Wilbur Tucker and wife Joan; three sisters: Anna Prothro, Lucille Digby, and Judy Wentz; one sister-in-law: Zada Tucker; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: John Wesley Tucker and Bertie D. Tucker; one sister-in-law: Rowena Tucker; three brothers-in-law: Arnold Prothro, Bill Digby, and Jack Wentz; and one granddaughter: Emma Lee West Gidden.
Mrs. Austin was a much loved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandma, and mother-in-law. "You were right, we are missing you, now that you are gone!"
