He and his wife Jackie shared 54 years of marriage and always held fond memories of the years spent living in Big Spring. Many special friends were made as they worshipped at Trinity Baptist Church. After working in many capacities, he retired from the City of Big Spring in 1981. They then moved to Sanger, Texas where they resided until 2005.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jackie in 2007. His survivors are his daughters, Beth (Tom) Rawls of LaPorte, Texas and Julie (Pete) Miller of Justin, Texas. Grandchildren, Kelli (Tony) Hallmark, Brian (Meghan) Rawls, Zachary (Amanda) Miller, Hope (Richard) Hinojosa, Grace (Mitch) Miller, and six great grandchildren, Trinton Hallmark, Lily Hallmark, Colt Rawls, Brooke Rawls, Gabriel Hinojosa and Violet Hinojosa.
At his request, there will not be a public service.
