KIMBERLY OZBURN Obituary

Jamison; sister Ginny Jamison and her husband David Purvis; sister Dr. Carol Jamison and her husband Dr. Dennis Murphy; nephews Jacob Jamison and Jamison Murphy; niece Parrish Murphy; and aunt Linda Coleman. Close cousins include Edgar and Winifred Rickard, Joey Lowery, Amy Wallace and her husband Jeremy, Dan Simpson, and Tina Watkins. Preceding her in death were father Robert Jamison, brother Bobby Jamison, and niece Danielle Frizzell. Kim was beloved by her friends, as well, many sharing her strong spirituality and her love of reading. Born June 21, 1973, she attended Hoover Public Schools, graduating from Berry High School. She was an excellent student in college, as well, becoming a proud alumna of UAB in 1997 with a B.S. in psychology. After graduating, Kim worked as a food broker and in 2002 married Steve Ozburn. In recent years, she participated actively in the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She touched the lives of many and was loved with special affection by family and friends alike. All who knew her greatly miss Kim, but their grief is tempered and their thoughts are warmed by happy memories of the time they were able to spend with her. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 608 Hampton Street, in Savannah, Georgia, where Kim's sisters reside. Kim and i got married may 17, 2007. The marriage did not last long but our friendship did. She had one of the best hearts of anyone i had ever met. As much as it hurts i know she is happy with Bobby that she missed so much. Love forever.

My prayers are with all of Kim's family and loved ones. I worked with Kim for several years and treasure the time we had together. She was such a good friend taking me to work when I needed a ride every day for several weeks. We spent our break times togehter while at work. I loved to hear her tell her funny stories, and she brought joy to all who were around to hear them. We lost touch when I left Advantage, sadly to say, but I will think of her often.

My Sweet Kim,

I was so sad to learn of your passing. Having worked with you for 7 years I grew to love and appreciate your wit, your love for your family and The Lord. You were smart and had so much to offer.

I guess I will never quite understand why your life ended the way it did. It's just not right.

Just know my prayers are with you and your loving family.

God Bless You.

Kim was a sweet lady. She worked with me in the food brokerage business and sat close enough to me that I could hear her each time she spoke to a member of her family on the telephone. She always closed their conversation with "I love you". My nickname for her became Lovey. I will always think of her fondly and she will be missed.
