EASTOVER — Addie Mae Jackson Phillips, 95, formerly of Dublin, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 in Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover.

She was born May 2, 1919 in Cherring, GA and is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Delphia Jackson; her husband, Ernest Phillips; a daughter, Dorothy Bryan; three sisters, Hazel Jackson, Louise Darnell and Mavis Simmons and three brothers, Lattimore, Lloyd and Arthur Jackson. She is survived by two sons, Raymond Phillips of Elizabethtown and Jack Phillips and wife Susie of Eastover; a sister, Mary Cowart of Valdosta, GA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. until noon at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home. A graveside service will held at Allen Cemetery in Tar Heel at 2 p.m.
