CHAPEL HILL — Mrs. Brenda Gail Culbreth Harris, 51, of 101 E. Johnson Street in Clinton, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on Oct. 8, 1965, in Bladen County, Brenda was the daughter of Donald Bennett Culbreth and the late Dorothy Matthews Culbreth. She worked as an insurance agent for over twenty years with Jefferson Pilot Insurance Company. She loved to work outside and had a passion for camping and fishing at the Outer Banks.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Tim Harris; her father, Donald Culbreth of Elizabethtown; sister-in-law, Bonnie Cribbs/Blackman of Clinton; nephew, Matthew Daughtry of Charlotte; cousin, Anita Halcomb of Huntersville; and aunt, Shirley Matthews and great-aunt, Maxine Smith Cashwell, both of Elizabethtown.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
The family has requested no flowers and that memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 408 College Street, Clinton, N.C. 28328.
