SUPPLY — Myers Broughton Hickman, 79, of Supply, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at State Employees Credit Union Hospice House.
Mr. Hickman was a veteran of the US Air Force. Myers served 46 years as Driver's License Examiner, testing most of the people of Bladen, Robeson and Columbus County.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Hickman; his father, Sam Hickman; brother, Clyde Hickman and one sister, Judith Merritt.
Myers is survived by his mother, Versie Hickman of Bladenboro; one daughter, Sandra Franklin and husband Paul of Supply; niece, Susan Hickman Pleasant of Wilmington, and one sister, Sue Siler of Bladenboro; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 11, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 2 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clifton Kinlaw officiating.
