Olivia Rahne Smith

CAROLINA SHORES— Olivia Rahne Smith, 20, of Carolina Shores, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014.

Olivia was born on June 19, 1994 in Columbus County.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Jane Smith; maternal great-grandmother, Eunice Herring; and her paternal great-grandparents, Mazelle and George Smith.

Surviving are her mother, Lori Hewett, and her fiancé, Chris Witkowski, of Carolina Shores; brother, Elijah Hewett, and sister, Dallas Hewett, all of Carolina Shores; father, Christopher J. Smith, and his wife, Kimberly; brother, Joshua Smith; sister, Brooke Smith, all of Hartwell, GA; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Shirley Smith , of Bladenboro; and maternal grandmother, Donna Jane Council, of Lake Waccamaw; and her loving aunt, Laura "LaLa" Clemmons, and husband, David; and cousin, Jordan, all of Beaufort; special great-uncle Wayne and Aunt Linda Norris; best friends, Kassy McDonough, Krystina Hannon, and Alexis Jackson.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, 5229 Ocean Hwy W., Shallotte, NC 28470.

Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3 pm at the funeral home.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to Anxiety and Depression Association of America, 8701 Georgia Ave, Suite 412, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

Olivia was loved and will be truly missed. Her impact on everybody's life will never be forgotten. When someone we love becomes a memory, a memory becomes a treasure.
