SIMPSONVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA — Thomas Mark Evans, 75, of 201 Spring Lake Loop, widower of Ann Flynn Evans, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, at McCall Hospice House.

A native of Garland, North Carolina, son of the late Thomas Beatty and Pearl Johnson Evans, he was the owner/operator of T and T Machine Shop and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Thomas Evans of Simpsonville; one daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Jeff Blaylock of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina and two grandchildren, Kyle Thomas Blaylock and Lindsie Ann Blaylock.

Mr. Evans was predeceased by one brother William Beatty Evans and two sisters, Annette Evans Smith and Lucille Davis.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, at Burnsview Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina, conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby and Rev. Ray Hatcher. Burial be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, at Sand Hill Cemetery, Garland, North Carolina.

There will be a visitation from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at Burnsview Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina.

The family is at the home.
