Donald Corbett Sneade

HENDERSONVILLE- Donald Corbett Sneade, 80, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Life Care Center.
He had lived in Worcester, Massachusetts for 61 years, Ft. Myers, Florida for 6 years and Hendersonville, North Carolina since 1999. He was of the Methodist Faith, a member of the American Legion, Massachusetts National Guard, was a past Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks in Worcester, Massachusetts. He retired as Supervisor from Norton Abrasives Company in Worcester after 30 years of service.
Donald was preceded in death by five brothers, Lincoln E. Sneade, Raymond A. Sneade, Richard I. Sneade, Alfred T. Sneade Jr. And Robert E. Sneade.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacquelyn A. Coon Sneade; a son, Donald Clarke Sneade of Rome, GA; two daughters, Sheryll Ann O'Brien of Worcester, MA and Marjorie J. McCarthy of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Hannah and Jessica O'Brien and Nicole McCarthy.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service followed by the Elks Memorial Service performed by the Hendersonville Elks Lodge #1616.
A reception will follow the same day at 4:00 PM at the Hendersonville Elks Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 514 Daniels St., #109, Raleigh, NC 27605.
