MARIETTA, GA-Anna Fay Lynch, 85, of Marietta, died Monday, June 24, 2013.|
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on July 3, 2013, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC.
Mrs. Lynch was born in Maryland, but lived most of her life in Hendersonville, NC, living in Marietta since 2008. She was a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and served on the Board at Pardee Hospital, was a member of OES and Rainbow Board, and was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville. In her life she always cared for those in need, whether it be medical, groceries, visit to the hairdresser, or just needed a friend. She was there always loving her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was tempered by times, inspired by her mountains, and she exemplified the song, "A Mother Like Mine."
Survivors include her three daughters, Karen Thompson of Marietta and husband, Steve, Carol Chandler of Duluth; Kristie Greer of Atlanta and husband Tom; two brothers, Gary and David Brauning; six grandchildren, Robert and Christopher Lasher, Jack and Emily Greer, Mallory Andrews and husband Joe, Brittany Spence and husband Nick; six great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Hebert "Dick" Dickson Lynch.
