Anneke (Sherrill) Deuschle Obituary
Anneke Sherrill Deuschle (84) passed away Thursday September 3rd, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home in front of her large picture window overlooking the flowers, birds, and squirrels she held so dearly.

Born April 5,1931 in Albany, NY, she was a longtime resident of Delmar, NY. Anneke married Basil Charles Deuschle in 1953 and moved to Ft Lauderdale, where their four children were born and raised, for 30 years. She then made her home among dear friends for the next 30 years in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She lived her final two years at home, in the loving care of her family in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Anneke was a 1949 graduate of Bethlehem Central High School; then earned her degree in Early Childhood Education at SUNY-Cortland, graduating in the class of 1953. In her earlier years Anneke enjoyed playing golf and tennis. Throughout life she continued to enjoy time writing her thoughts, volunteering in her church and community, listening to others, and appreciating the relationships with friends and family. Anneke was proud of the memberships in the DAR and Daughters' of the King. But, her true passion could be found in the glory of nature and the smiles and laughter of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children:
