Geraldine A. Fink, age 65, of Hendersonville passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2016 surrounded by her family and best friends. She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on April 4th, 1951 to Theresa Picard Harold and the late Gerard Picard. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Picard of Connecticut.
Geri was married to her hometown sweetheart for over 40 years and moved across the country with him always making their new house a home for their family. They eventually settled in Hendersonville, NC in 1992 and planted roots where Geri worked at Carolina Mountain Dermatology and retired in 2013 as their Front Office Manager where she made many lasting friendships. She enjoyed travelling with her husband and especially loved their exotic beach vacations. In retirement much time was spent with her best friend in life, her husband George on adventurous road trips visiting with family and friends across the country and with the grandchildren she so adored.
She is survived by her husband George Fink, her daughters Dawn Fink of Charlotte, Nicole Huntley and her husband, Chance of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Anai Huntley and Grant Huntley; her brothers and sisters, Gerard Picard of CA, Jacqueline Pereiras and her husband, Kenny, Karen Smith and her husband, Charlie, Sharon Lawlor and her husband, Marty and John Picard; her brother-in-law, Fred Fink all of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.
