HENDERSONVILLE-Harold Wayne "Pow" Robison, 67, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the Elizabeth House after fighting a challenging battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Harold was born December 25, 1946 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Delmar Pink Robison and Bertie Lou Geddings Robison.
On December 31, 1985, Harold married the love of his life and best friend, Christine. They moved to Henderson County in 1991.
Harold was an honorably discharged veteran that had proudly served our country in the Vietnam War. Harold was also a machine operator. In 1994, after years of hard work and dedication Harold retired. Harold had many hobbies such as fishing, spending time with his family, barbequing, camping and reading. Harold also loved volunteering his time at West Henderson High School where he worked the concession stand every home game, he was a loyal supporter of the Falcons.
Harold is survived by his loving wife Christine Craft Robison, two sons Steven Kyle Young and his wife Alisha of Charleston, SC, and Joshua Wayne Young of Hendersonville, and one daughter, Kimberly Dianne Young of Hendersonville. He is also survived by grandchildren Savannah Kaitlyn Young and Mackenzie Ann Young, one sister, Marcia Hodges of Jacksonville, FL and two sisters-in-law, Koresa Beighey and Sandra Slye.
