Obituary Condolences

HENDERSONVILLE-James Lewis Bryson, 84, formerly of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Cumberland Manor in Millville, NJ.
He was a native of Jackson County, NC, the son of the late Charlie and Willa Allman Bryson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Banks Bryson; a daughter, Donna B. Freeman of Hendersonville; a brother, Paul Bryson of Bridgeton, NJ; and two sisters, Marjorie Barlam of Millville and Betty Jo Dotson of Hazelwood, NC.
He is survived by three daughters, Carol Bryson and Barbara B. Sinclair of Hendersonville and Alice Bryson of Fort Walton Beach, FL; three stepchildren; his twin sister, Louis Davis of Waynesville, NC; sister Patsy Champ of Rantoul, IL; and a brother, Frank Bryson of Winston-Salem, NC, who since passed away September 11, 2013. Mr. Bryson is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Jim worked as a police officer in Hendersonville for many years. He also was employed with the West Company and retired from Durand International Glass Co. in Millville, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 22 at Mud Creek Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
