Obituary Condolences

HENDERSONVILLE-June Winona Omans, 94, passed away September 16, 2013 at the Beystone Nursing Home.
A native of Asheville, she was the daughter of the late Harvey L. Shoup and Miriam Jenkins Shoup. Mrs. Omans was a graduate of Adelphian Academy, and Secretarial School. She also attended Emmanuel Missionary College. She has been a resident of Hendersonville for 30 years, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Omans enjoyed entertaining, cooking beautiful meals, watching birds, with her top priority of her adult life to be a loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Clarence D. Omans; 2 daughters, Patricia Ann Harrison and husband Stuart of Phoenix, AZ, and Claralynn Sue Dinning of Redlands, CA; and 3 grandchildren, Dolly Dinning, Heather Schlaqeck, and Chad Harrison.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Arden Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastors Eli Rojas, Jeff Wait, and Stuart Harrison, and Chaplain Gordon Weidemann officiating. Burial will take place at the Bedford Township Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.
