Lottie Beulah Garren Obituary
FLETCHER - Lottie Beulah Garren, age 85, of Fletcher died Friday, November 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 26, 1929 in Henderson County to the late Mark and Dale Gosnell Owensby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wilford Owensby; and her sisters, Wilma Jean Fender, Francis Lindsey, and Sue Martin.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, Mrs. Garren was employed for over 33 years with CTS. Her life was guided by her Christian faith; she had a love for animals and she enjoyed working outdoors.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Lawrence Garren; her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Stephanie Lindsey; her granddaughter, Aubrey Lindsey; her brother, Leonard Owensby; and her sisters, Pearl Pressley, Evelyn Bowles, and Judy McCrary.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in the Sanctuary of Fletcher First Baptist Church with Reverend David Gentry and Reverend Craig Garren officiating. Burial will follow the service in Hooper's Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Fletcher First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Beulah's memory be directed to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
