Margaret J. Prim Obituary
HENDEROSNVILLE--Margaret Virginia Justus Prim, a lifetime resident of Hendersonville, died peacefully on February 28, 2013 with her children by her side. Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband William Sidney Prim, her sister-in-law Jean Prim, her brothers-in-law Bob Parker and Bill Watts, and her beloved cousins Irma Dantzler and Marie Smyth.
Margaret graduated from Hendersonville High School and Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She then devoted her life to service to others working at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, Margaret R. Margaret was a long-time active member of First Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville where she served as a Deacon and a Care of Staff Advocate and volunteered in numerous ways. She also volunteered for Interfaith Assistance Ministries and the Red Cross. She was a dedicated care-giver and helped ease the suffering of many friends and family members at very difficult times in their lives.
Margaret was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. Her example of devotion and commitment to her husband of 42 years helped her children build strong, healthy relationships and families of their own, of which she was extremely proud.
