She shared this love by celebrating her 70th birthday at Grand Canyon with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, the occasional glass of wine and chocolate. Family gatherings in the Mountains for Christmas were her most favorite occasion.
She is survived by her husband of 20 wonderful years, Donald Afflerbach of Flat Rock; her brothers, John Knevals and his wife, Janice of North Plainfield, NJ and Bruce Knevals and his wife, Cheryl of Kissimmee, FL; her sister, Jana Hutchinson and her husband, John of Barnegat, NJ; her children, John Morano of Bloomfield, NJ, Donna Gwisdala and her husband, Jerry of Cameron Park, CA, Virginia Morano of Lubec, ME, Darlene Durbin and her husband, Jim of Bricktown, NJ, Richard Morano and his wife, Donna of Sevierville, TN, Denise Chelednik of Phoenix, AZ, Christopher Morano and his wife, Jenna of Apopka, FL and Donnie Afflerbach of Toms River, NJ.
