HENDERSONVILLE-Mrs. Melba Colleen Stover age 85 of Hendersonville passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Mrs. Stover was born in Andrews, NC on November 21, 1929 to the late Roy Randall Williams and Lola Vickie Phillips. She was the widow of the late James Wiley Stover. Mrs. Stover was a stay at home Mom, a member of French Broad Baptist Church. She loved to read, sew, crochet and cook wonderful dinners for her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Roy Dean Stover.
Survivors include her son, Philip Doyle Stover and wife Donna of Mills River; a daughter, Nancy Gail Laughter and husband Tony of Etowah; a sister, Olivia McNally of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Shannon Page Stover and husband Chris Zink of Metairie, La., Jared Andrew Stover, James Eric Stover both of Alamogordo, Mexico, Matthew Harrison Laughter and wife Megan, and Justin Alan Laughter; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Wednesday March 18, 2015 at Shepherd Memorial Park with Rev. Kemuel Pruitt officiating.
