Melvin Cantrell Obituary
SALUDA - Melvin Roger Cantrell, 74, went to be with the Lord on march 19, 2013. He was born Sept. 28, 1938.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; a half brother, and one sister.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Fannie Susan Cagle Cantrell; their daughter, Michelle Bucilli; grandson, Billy Joe Clayton II; grandson, Kevin Shawn Martin II and his fiance, Kim Justus, and great-great-grandchildren, Macoda, Zavier, Monica, Gavin, Katie Marie, Hannah, and Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins, and friends.
Roger was a veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was a loving husband, Dad, Pappaw, Fisherman, and Carpenter. He loved all his family very much.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at his home on Cantrell Lane off Holbert Cove Road in Saluda.
