Nancy Fishwick Obituary
Nancy Fishwick, 78 , beloved wife of John Fishwick, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Naples, FL.
Born in Chicago, IL daughter of Robert and Grace (Coyne) Tannehill, Nancy grew up in Manhasset, NY and attended Manhasset High School. After pursuing her Associates degree she went on to work for American Airline as a flight attendant. Nancy moved to Wilmette, IL with her husband Thomas D. Coleman.
Nancy loved to travel extensively; she was an avid golfer and tennis player. She was a past member of both the Skokie and Lake Shore Country Clubs in Glencoe, IL and most currently a member of Kenmure Country Club in Flat Rock, NC where she would spend her summers and the Wyndemere Country Club in Naples, FL where she would spend her winters. Over the years Nancy volunteered with many organizations including Midwest Palliative Care and Hospice CareCenter "Journey Care" in Glenview, and Gads Hill.
She is survived by her husband John Fishwick of Naples, FL, her son Thomas "Tim" Coleman, Jr.(Kathy) of Winnetka, IL, two daughters, Debbie Retondo (Mario) of Wilmette, IL and Janet Exel (Doug) of Oro-Mendote, Ontario, Canada, one brother Jerry Sweeney, grandchildren, Erin Coleman, Kristen (Jack McMahon) Coleman, Kevin Retondo, Nicole Retondo, Kyle Retondo and Alexandria Exel, she is also survived by many extended family members, step family members, nieces, nephews and cousins. Beside her parents Nancy was preceded in death by husband, Richard Blackwell and her brother Bob Sweeney.
