Ralph Alton Clark Obituary
Ralph Alton Clark, 96, of Anderson, SC passed away on November 21, 2016. He is a native of Union, SC and was a resident of Henderson County for 34 years. He is the son of the late Charles R. Clark and Katie Staton Clark. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mildred Allison Clark and 8 siblings.
He is survived by his children Emma Pierce (Bobby), James Clark (Teresa), Virginia Boyd (Dewey), and Karla Lowman (Bob); ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and extended family.
He served his country in the US Navy during WWII and retired from Clark Brothers Die Service which he and his brother founded in 1948. He, along with his wife, loved helping their friends and family, delivering donated flowers to nursing home residents, walking on the beach, and early morning walks at the mall.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Dr. Bob Lowman, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Friday at Shuler Funeral Home.
