HENDERSONVILLE - Lois Ann Keegan, 86, of Hendersonville died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Elizabeth House after a brief illness. She was born in Chicago, Ill., on July 29, 1926, to Ernst and Theresa Lauschke. Her two brothers, Robert Martin Lake and Richard William Lake, preceded her in death.
Lois Ann moved to Hendersonville in 1974 from Western Springs, Ill., after retiring from Container Corporation of America as an executive secretary. She was a dedicated member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She and her late husband, Robert Joseph Keegan, participated in a variety of community activities. They both thoroughly enjoyed living in Hendersonville.
Survivors include her son, Richard Anton Beck of Fort Collins, Colo.; her stepchildren, John Michael Keegan and his wife, Diane Keegan, of Marietta, Ga.; Beth DiCori of Salinas, Calif., and her former daughter-in-law, Barbara Jean Beck of Hendersonville; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Lois Ann's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville with Dr. Mark Stanley and Mr. Joe Grenoske officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
