HENDERSONVILLE-Richard Roseler, (Dick) 89 of Hendersonville died July 15, 2014 at the Elizabeth House. His faith sustained him through his physical decline with support from his church, Grace Lutheran Church, and Four Seasons Compassion for Life hospice program.

Dick was born in Buffalo, NY on January 4, 1925 son of the late Edward and Marjorie Roseler.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Edward and Robert, and his first wife Betty McCormick Roseler.
He served in the US Navy from 1943-1946 and was involved in the Normandy landing aboard LST 505.
Dick's family was very important to him, they will be remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather, He is survived by his wife Emily, daughter Judy Harrington and her husband Ed, son Thomas Roseler and his wife Patti.
He is also survived by grandchildren Amy Richardson (Brian), Kim Robinson, Robert Roseler, Neal Harrington (Bianca)and Ellen Harrington (Matthew) and five great grandchildren. Survivors also include three step children , nine step grandchildren and one great step grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dick will be remembered for the great love and compassion he shared with family and friends alike.
Dick founded Brighton Tool and Die Design in Tonawanda, NY and continued to do some design work for a time from his home after moving to Hendersonville in 1986. He loved the mountains and living in Hendersonville for 28 years gave him great pleasure.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on July 26 at 11 AM.
