Marjory Haley Obituary

Marjory Sue Haley, 91, of Independence died Monday, April 25, at John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, Mo.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1920, to Roger Q. and Laura E. Schlotzhauer Eichelberger. On June 29, 1940, in Pilot Grove she married John Clarence Haley, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church in Independence. She worked in customer service for Montgomery Ward in Independence for 20 years.
Survivors include one son-John R. Haley of Springfield, Mo.; three daughters-Martha
Sue Graham of Enfield, NC; Janice Kay Cottrell of Independence, Mo.; Debra Ann Corbett of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-Dorothy Jeffries of Gilliam, Mo.; and one brother-Reuben Eichelberger of Blue Springs, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister-Sarah Oswald.
Funeral services for Mrs. Haley will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 28, at the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church near Pilot Grove. Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Services under the direction of the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
