Agnes Cecilia (Hanke) Hoff of Pilot Grove, MO, died on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove, MO.

She was born on January 28, 1931, to Frank and Elizabeth (Nellesen) Hanke in Glasgow, MO. She married James "Jim" A. Hoff on September 6, 1954, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glasgow, Missouri, who survives in Boonville, MO. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Pilot Grove and the St. Joseph Altar Society.
She is best remembered for her many years of helping to deliver and care for newborn babies as a nurse in the obstetrics (OB) unit at the then known St. Joseph Hospital in Boonville, MO. In 1969 she then transitioned to the successor hospital, Cooper County Hospital where she retired on February 2, 1996, after 45 years of fulfilling and rewarding service.
She is survived by two sisters, Wilhelmina "Wilma" Bonen of Blackwater, MO, and Hermina "Mimi" Kraus and her husband Richard "Dick" Kraus of La Monte, MO, and two nieces and two nephews, Karen Simon and her husband Wayne of La Monte, MO; Rick Kraus and his wife Irene of Marshall, MO; Russell Bonen and his wife Bridgett of Armstrong, MO, and Denise Crawley and her husband David of Ellisville, MO, one great niece and four great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Agnes will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be before the service starting at 9 a.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church.
