Surrounded by her loving family, Alma Faye Robinson, 83, of Richmond, and formerly of Boonville, MO passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. She was born June 30, 1931 in Adrian, MO, to Otha and Lois (Addleman) Moles.

On December 26, 1950 she married Paul Dale Robinson, of Carl Junction, MO, who preceded her in death on October 22, 2003. Faye was raised in the Butler/Adrian MO area where she attended Butler High School and graduated in 1949. She was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 30 years and retired in 1991. Faye was an active member in the Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church in Boonville for 48 years and most recently the United Methodist Church in Richmond.
Serving others was an important part of Faye's life as she was a member of the Eastern Star and the Boonville Woman's Club. Additionally, she served as a 4-H leader, Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, member of the Trustees Board of the Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church, and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Faye's hobbies were reading, sewing, quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride of her life.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Lamar and husband Don of Richmond, Cheryl Lyon and husband Jim of Kirksville, and Terri Peeler of Oxford, MS: 4 grandchildren, Josh Lamar, Jennifer Guy, Ashley Lyon and James Lyon: 2 great-grandchildren, Dawson Lamar and Eli Lyon: 2 sisters, Wilda Nevels and her husband Jim of Lexington, Mo, Kate Barton of Tulsa, Ok, and many nieces nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband: 4 brothers, Lester, Jack, Bob, and her twin brother Alvin Ray Moles: 4 sisters, Vonna Smiley, Shirley Smith, Melva Hogan and Geraldine Scott.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church of Boonville, or the United Methodist Church of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church in Boonville, where there will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Another visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Boonville.
