Ann C. Schnack, 84, Lone Elm, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Friday, Feb. 11, at Davis Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from noon until five o'clock. Services will be at Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm, Saturday morning at 10:30, with Rev. Paul Weisenborn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ann Caroline Schnack was born in Boonville, Mo., Nov. 9, 1926, the daughter of George Moehle and Elsie Toennes Moehle. She graduated from Boonville High School and on October 26, 1946 she married Adolf Schnack Jr. They were in the dairy business for many years on the family farm (now a century farm) and later row cropped and raised stock cattle. Ann was active in her community as a member of the New Lebanon Preservation Society, Bunceton Garden Club, Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She had worked for several years as a clerk for the Cooper County Assessor and later as secretary for Valley Hope Treatment Center. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, antiquing, quilting, sewing, cooking and traveling.Mrs. Schnack was preceded in death by her husband, Adolf in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah and her husband, Don Schultehenrich of New Bloomfield, Mo., and her sister, Rose Morrison of Jefferson, Iowa and by her extended family: her in-laws, Bill and Doris Butler, George and Lil Wohlt, Charlene Schnack all of Jefferson City, Dwyn Schnack of Clinton, NC, Dot Schnack of St. Charles, Mo., and Jim and Virginia Berry of Boonville.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Zion Lutheran School or the Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City.
