Archie Montgomery passed away surrounded by family at his home in New Franklin on November 26, 2016. He was 60 years of age.

Archie was born in Moberly, Mo. on March 16, 1956 to Billy and Gwen (Thrash) Montgomery. He attended Keytesville High School. Archie married Lee Wells in Keytesville on December 24, 1988. Archie worked as a butcher at Charlie's Quik Chek in Glasgow for a number of years, but his primary occupation was working as a truck driver. Archie loved to cook meals for friends and family, especially smoking and barbequing meats. Archie was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Lee Montgomery of New Franklin, Mo.; five children, Billy Pearman of Salisbury, Mo., Ronnie Severns of Keytesville, Mo., Sandy Barnhill of Boonville, Mo., Lori Severns of New Franklin, Mo. and Shannon Montgomery of Triplett, Mo.; brother, Billy Fuenfhausen of Battlefield, Mo.; sister, Sherry Meyer of Dalton, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Archie was preceded in death by two sisters and a great-granddaughter.
A Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Friendship Four Square Church near New Franklin with Rev. Wayne Purvis officiating.
