Arvid Neil Hamilton, 89, of Boonville passed away at home on Thursday, Jan. 13.

There will be no services, as he donated his body to science.
Arvid Neil Hamilton was born in Erie, Ill., May 16, 1921, the son of Charles A. Hamilton and Fern May Hunter. He was married to Diana Jean workman March 7, 1990.
They moved to Boonville about four years ago from the state of Illinois. He enjoyed nature, with its birds and other animals.
Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Darrell Hamilton and a sister-in-law, Shirley Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, of the home, a son, Larry Hamilton of Morrison, Ill., step-son, Daren Barfield of Renick, Mo., and daughters, Jeannie Buddemeyer, of Boonville, Linda Statler and Connie Mulnix from Illinois; also a brother-in-law Michael Oettle of Springfield, Mo., and sisters in law, Jackie Hamilton of Illinois and Patricia Wheeler of West Plains, Mo., his mother-in-law, Betty Oettle of West Plains, as well as fourteen grandchildren.
