Arvil A. Andrews, 98, of Pilot Grove, MO, formerly of Howard County died on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at his home.

He was born January 24, 1912, to Arvil and Letha Gooden Andrews, in Howard County, MO. He was married to Helen Yeager on August 7, 1934, in Fayette, MO., who preceded him in death in 1989. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pilot Grove. He spent his life working as a farmer and carpenter in Howard and Cooper Counties. He enjoyed working outdoors in his garden, and woodworking in his garage.
He is survived by one son-Martin Andrews(Letha) of Columbia, MO; one daughter-Sandy Meisenheimer (Ken) of Pilot Grove; seven grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters-Catherine Clark and Bobbie Pfafflin of Evansville, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one sister-Mary Grimes.
Services for Mr. Andrews will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 26, at the First Baptist Church in Pilot Grove with Pastor Jon Thoma officiating. Burial will be in the Fayette City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 25 at the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
In lieu of flowers, please give memorials to the First Baptist Church of Pilot Grove or the Fayette City Cemetery.
