Barbara Ann Coleman Rohlfing of rural Howard County, Missouri, passed away February 15, 2015 at Columbia Healthcare Center in Columbia, Missouri. She was 87 years old.
Barbara Ann Coleman was born February 12, 1928 in Boonville Missouri to James Hardy and Sarah Ann Morris Coleman. She married Raymond F. Rohlfing in Pilot Grove, Missouri on May 14, 1948. He preceded her in death January 3, 2007.
Mrs. Rohlfing was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in New Franklin. She loved sewing, quilting, participating in craft fairs and working outside on the farm. She especially treasured her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Alan Rohlfing and wife, Linda, of St. Charles; Mona Sander and husband Joe of Boonville; Debbie Esser of New Franklin; Lisa Hirlinger and husband, Kenny of Boonville; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Marty Esser; two brothers, James Morris Coleman and William Coleman and two sisters, Suzanne Johnson and Carol Caton.
Services honoring her life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in New Franklin. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.
Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
