Benjamin "Ben" Elliott, Jr., 70, formerly of Boonville passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics on Sunday, March 9, 2014. He was born in Jamestown, MO on February 21, 1944 the son of Benjamin Homer Elliott, Sr. and Nancy Hazel (Stewart) Elliott both of whom preceded him in death. Ben was a laborer for Toastmaster for many years. He was also a member of Pilot Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music and going dancing when he was younger. He is survived by 2 brothers, Melvin Elliott and Kelly Elliott and wife Marilyn all of Boonville, MO. He was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Wainscott and one brother, Norman Elliott. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2014. Officiating will be Mr. David Mackey. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Ass. c/o the funeral home.
