Betty Stone Craig, 92, of Boonville, passed away Jan. 2, 2014 at Ashley Manor Care Center.

There will be a celebration of Betty's life at the Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2014 at 2:00 o'clock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 o'clock. Inurnment will follow at the Peninsula Cemetery in Blackwater.
Betty Stone Craig was born in Paris, MO August 27, 1922, the daughter of Leonard Stone and Margaret Racy Stone. She is the last of fifteen children. Betty was active in the WW II effort as a welder in California, (Rosie the Riveter). She had a very active mind and enjoyed reading, cross words, playing poker, where she generally won most pots, and regular bingo.
Betty is survived by her children; Kathy (Larry) Huffman and Rhonda (John) Wesolak, of Boonville and Robin (Dave) Richardson of Hallsville, as well as six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials by directed to second chance animal shelter.
