Bobbie E. Renfrow, 75, of Blackwater, MO passed away at Boone Hospital Center on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
Funerals services for Bobbie will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 26, with Mark Danner officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at10:00 o'clock. Burial will follow at Peninsula Cemetery.
Bobbie Edwin Renfrow was born Feb. 27, 1939 at Wooldridge, MO the son of Everett Renfrow and Margaret Lamm Renfrow. He attended Boonville schools and graduated from BHS in 1957. He worked with his father in the Dozer business and later was joined by his son, "Pache" as Bobbie Bobbie Dozing. Bobbie served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964. He married Carol Joy Shoemaker May 7, 1962 in Marshall, MO and they are the parents of two children. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boonville. Bobbie along with his father were charter members of the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Association. He was on the Blackwater School Board for seven years and served as president of that board for several years. His first love was of his family; He enjoyed gardening, collecting and trading Lionel Trains and was a member of the Lionel Train Association. His 1955 Ford Victoria was a favorite hobby of his and he got special satisfaction in showing it off.
Bobbie is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Twila Drumeller as well as her husband, Sam. He is survived by his mother, Margaret, of Boonville his wife of the home, daughter, Gayla Smith and husband, Fred of Nelson and Bobbie 'Pache" and his wife, Paula, of Blackwater as well as his brother Charles 'Mickey' and his wife Edith Renfrow, of Fredericksburg, VA. He will leave an empty place in the hearts of his grandchildren, Cassidy, Preston, Paige and Kennedy Renfrow. His niece and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be directed to Blackwater School or the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Association.
